Dreamlinux has been working so well, I've had no problems up to this point.

1.)This isn't really a problem, more of an annoyance/tweak really. I'd like to replace  FireFox with IceWeasel on the button and in the menu .... how is this accomplished?

2.) I just read the "steps to happiness" thread by sgdreamer and tried to go to the link that was provided for speeding up FireFox ...... when the link resolved, it told me that I'm not authorized to view the page ...... why?

Hi goatman,

I'm on my MacBook now, which actually runs *Buntu 9.10 as OS, so I can just answer to your second question.

A few weeks ago we didn't knew, if there was further development of Dreamlinux and we also didn't knew, if someone was stepping in as a new Admin for the Dreamlinux forums as Rich was going to leave this position.

Hence Rich cleaned up the forum, in order to transfer it to the LxH-Forums, so that not all data would be lost. Because the forums consisted of some Gbyte, some data were erased.

I guess, the site, which has been linked on sgdreamer's thread, was erased too. I couldn't use the link either.

If anyone lost important data, I would suggest sending richs-lxh a PM, maybe he has still some backups.

Rich did do a backup after pruning the old posts...I know a PM to him will get the data you need...
