Very easy!

Open the 'GnomePPP` in DreamLinuxControlPanel

Username                  number of sim-card
Password                   pin-code
TelNumber                 *99#

Then you go to 'configurations' > setup >ḿodems >type >detect

should show                /dev/ttyUSB0
change type to             /modem/USB
speed                         what you want

leave the rest

go to >setup > network

mark                          dynamic IP-adress
                                 automatic DNS


go to >setup > options

leave everything, only

                                  set idle-time as high as possible

This seems to be important!

Closing and connecting.
Works good with my Huawei E620, pcmcia-card, provider www.kanguru.pt
Should be the same with the USB-Sticks

The only thing to claim, that I have do get root before connecting
