hi guys, i have a safecom wireless 802.11g wireless lan pci card, and im not entirely sure how to set it up, i done the (sudo iwlist scanning) and get the message interface dosent support scanning and ( sudo iwconfig ) but i get a message no wireless extensions, can anyone tell me how to get it up and running and should i connect it throught the ethernet to get it started. big thanks in advance guys

Looks like you have two choices.

1. Download the native Linux ACX100 drivers here:
http://acx100.sourceforge.net/


2. Install the Windows drivers and use Ndiswrapper:

I have similar problem with another wireless card. I tried to use ndiswrapper to install the windows driver for this card in Dream Linux 4 alfa version. But there in no ndiswrapper available in DL 4. Could someone lend a hand please?
