Hi all;

Has anyone of you solved the problem with the squashed screen on the AA1?
When I install DL3.5 I get a skewed desktop with the 800x600 pix resolution...

On an AA1 ZG5, I changed the vga=791 to vga=788 and the screen resolution was almost correct (works on sidux), but it couldn't read my external mouse correctly, only sort of --up and down only. The internal mouse worked but I prefer a real mouse.

Is there some development on this screenresolution (1024x600) already?
I hope there is/will be, because I really like to have DL on my netbook.

Hi Richard 

It is strange this up and down motion with mouse. I have the same problem with one of my cordless mice ....only when on livecd....after install it was OK!

I had a standard cord mouse while installing ....saved me having to look around for extra solutions.

Fixed the xorg.conf the way it was explained in this thread.

Editing the xorg.conf file did the trick. Changed the driver to "intel" and the resolution to 1024x600, exited (ctrl+x) and answered yes (y) to "save?" and pressed enter. Rebooted and - voila!
