Dreamlinux 3.5 - Known issues

Hi everybody, most of you now have or are on the way to getting the latest 3.5 final release.

What to do if other people have downloaded, burned and installed but you can't

What could be the problem?

The iso
Bad download - Did you check the Md5sum?
Bad burn - Did you burn at the slowest possible speed on a good quality CD/Dvd?

Your Hardware
Linux works on all types of hardware, but not ALL hardware. Different distros cover different hardware, so maybe Suse works for you but Dreamlinux doesn't.
Post on the Install or Live CD section of the forum, stating clearly your hardware and any error messages

General Distro Problems vs Individual Problems
If many people report the same problem, then we need to look for a bug fix. (Distro Problem)
If only you report a problem we need to find out why. (User/Hardware Problem)

Dreamlinux is good, but it isn't perfect. It is a community distro created by 3 devs and tested by forum staff and forum members.
It is not a newbie distro, you will probably need to use the command line at some point, although we are working to avoid this.

The goal of Dreamlinux is to create a light. fast, good-looking distro which makes Debian a little easier for the masses. The tools have also been provided to help you create your own personalised Dreamlinux.

The Forum is a community as well as a support board. Try to help us to help you help others, and have fun.
