How did you set up partitions ? DLI has had too many problems setting up a table, so maybe this is already your problem.
Try this: Open DLI, select Partition tool and set up partitions | Do not format in there !
Apply, leave back to installer, add and check to format and give it another try

Hi Apocaliptica,

Try to use the latest installer (dli.rb) from Nelsongs' website. It is newer than in 3.1 and improved.
http://www.ngsys.eti.br/pub/updates/DL3.0/
You should be able to complete the install with it.

Hello guys, finally i could install DL 3.1 in my pc, i don't know what was the problem exactly, but after several tryes, i could install but when i rebooted my pc, in the grub appears the error number 17, and this is the most strange thing because i don't have any win partition in my pc. Any way i "solved" this installing again ubuntu.
Another thing that i think it's important is that when i've tried to install with reiserfs DL always got stucked in 91% but as i said it before try again but this time wih ext3 and this is work fine.
If this is a problem hope this can be solved in the future.
See you guys and thanks a lot for your help.

Apokalyptica,

There was really a problem of "logics" in my code when DLI was producing the Grub menu, especially when it was reading the other operating systems (OS) installed in the disk(s) and adding them to the menu. Piotrpiano has helped me a lot testing and reporting the progress. I finally think (fingers crossed) to have found the "bug". So, if you download the new dli.rb present in http://www.ngsys.eti.br/pub/updates/DL3.0 (size 70,711 bytes) and give it a try it will work as expected.  I also have isolated the Grub menu creation in two separate Ruby methods. So, in any case, even if the installation hangs again (which I don't believe) you can interrupt it that the system will be installed, with the basic menu, but without the other OS appearing on it.

If you try it, please report back.

Cheers,

nelsongs

Mustard007,

Have you tried following nelsong's instruction to download the new installer. It is from here
http://www.ngsys.eti.br/pub/updates/DL3.0/dli.rb

Then you run this from Terminal
Code:
sudo chmod 755 dli.rb

Run this new installer from Terminal
Code:
sudo ./dli.rb

Hope this new installer works for you!
